Are you missing a little zest in your mix? Need some creative squishing and stretching with some color? Librae is the master of dynamics, perfect for individual instruments or end-of-chain processing. Designed with transparency in mind, Librae is great for sparkly clean processing, but its colorful harmonic controls can add some flair to your mix, too.

Librae is an easy-to-use yet capable mid/side and stereo dynamics processor for compression, expansion, and limiting. Need a bit more color? Add some distortion or saturation: we’ve included a few flavors for you to choose from. Librae also features lookahead for transparent gain reduction, and weight controls for each stage to control how the plugin responds to your signal. Stereo Link on Pre and Post stages makes it easy to adjust the correlation of processing between channels. And if you want to get out of the mix and use Librae as a creative sound design tool, it also features an extensive internal modulation matrix with LFOs, envelopes, and step sequencers.

Our plugins come with free updates for the lifetime of the product. As long as we make the plugin, it will be supported, and if you buy a plugin, it is yours. We do not provide access to old versions. Our goal is to support operating system versions currently supported by Microsoft and Apple. You will be able to update all plugin(s) you purchase for free. Updates may include bugfixes or feature adds.

ARTHUR HNATEK
“Are you saying I can play chords with BIA (personal favorite voice ever)? Yes. You get polyphony. It’s awesome. I also like the random button to start fresh with, probably some settings I wouldn’t find myself. Very inspiring.”ARTHUR HNATEK (TIGRAN HAMASYAN, ERIK TRUFFAZ QUARTET)
Danielle Thwaites
“A sound designer’s dream. NE’s plugins bring the experimental environment of modular synthesis and Eurorack effects ‘in the box’. The audio quality is excellent. If you’ve been wanting to explore what the world of Eurorack is all about, Noise Engineering should be your first port of call.”DANIELLE THWAITES (DAIZA)
Daniel Miller
“I was more than pleasantly surprised by the arrival of these plugin versions, they sound absolutely authentic to the originals and I really like the clear and minimal design of the GUI. Now when I need that extra BIA or five for my compositions I will certainly harness the power of these great plugins!”DANIEL MILLER (MUTE RECORDS)
Sofia Hultquist
“Noise Engineering’s new plugin bundle is amazingly versatile and covers a ton of sonic ground. Being able to add the spatially reverberant power of Desmodus on other virtual instruments is astonishing.”SOFIA HULTQUIST (DRUM & LACE)
Matt Lange
“Noise Engineering’s Eurorack modules have been some of my favorite tools for a number of years. To be able to take the signature NE sound with the freedom and versatility that a plugin affords (hello polyphony!) is truly inspirational. Beautifully brutal.”MATT LANGE
Michael Bradford
“The plugins sound amazing. The Basimilus is so punchy, and the default preset is killer! It will make for an amazing tuned kick drum that can change pitch with the chords of the song. It will also give a million new ideas for my hardware version.”MICHAEL BRADFORD
Lauren Kop
“Basimilus Iteritas and Cursus Vereor give you endless possibilities of creating so many different types of sounds from metallic to otherworldly, and their simple layouts make it easy to make an interesting sound right away.”LAUREN KOP (MINIBEAR)
ELANA BELLE CARROLL (PARTY NAILS)
“As someone who is drawn to the guttural and gritty sounds of Noise Engineering’s modules, but who came up using computers to create music, these plugins are a dream come true! They take every aspect of the physical modules (including the quality of sound) and put it into an easy-to-use digital version.”ELANA BELLE CARROLL (PARTY NAILS)
RENÉ G. BOSCIO
“The Desmodus plugin has quickly become my go-to reverb/delay for creating interesting textures. The shift mode introduces beautiful harmonics to anything I slap it on, be it a piano, a guitar, or a string section. It’s one of the plugins that has the most character in my arsenal.”RENÉ G. BOSCIO
RHYS FULBER (FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, DELIRIUM; PRODUCER, FEAR FACTORY AND MORE)
“The Noise Engineering plugins are a great way to get the sonic palette of their modules in a convenient recallable DAW-friendly format, and also a great way to get a taste for their sound without a Eurorack chassis. Both formats are a permanent fixture in my setup that I use on almost every production. Highly recommended…”RHYS FULBER (FRONT LINE ASSEMBLY, DELIRIUM; PRODUCER, FEAR FACTORY AND MORE)
TIFF RANDOL (IAMEVE)
“The Desmodus module stole my heart earlier this year, and being able to use that on my voice is a dream. This is easily my favorite plugin – I put it on EVERYTHING!”TIFF RANDOL (IAMEVE)
TOM HALL, CYCLING ’74, ERRORGRID
“I’ve always loved the Noise Engineering sound, so naturally wanting to work in polyphony with that sound was something I always greatly desired. Now it’s easier than ever to have the NE sound in polyphony with as many voices as you have fingers or until you max your CPU"TOM HALL, CYCLING ’74, ERRORGRID
TORI LETZLER (TINYKVT)
“As someone who’s been a longtime user of NE modules, I am blown away by what they have achieved in the plugin space. I’ve never heard any other plugin come as close to the grit and depth of modular quite like this. I think these are really amazing tools.”TORI LETZLER (TINYKVT)
RIK SIMPSON/RIKADEMUS (PRODUCER, COLDPLAY, JAY-Z, AND MORE)
“Everything I own by Noise Engineering is inspirational to me. I love the lateral “out of the box” thinking that has gone into designing these instruments and am supremely excited by the advent of the NE plugins; now I can have my favourite modules in my laptop. These are exciting times.”RIK SIMPSON/RIKADEMUS (PRODUCER, COLDPLAY, JAY-Z, AND MORE)
